COMANCO operations began in the home of Jim and Judie Faust back
in 1973. In the early seventies, community association management
was a new concept. It consisted primarily of collecting
assessments and organizing the annual block party. However, with
time, the pace of life quickened and there became less and less
time for homeowner volunteers to spend administering the affairs
of their community associations. In addition, layers of
legislation have complicated and constrained community association
operations.
From these modest beginnings, COMANCO, Inc. has grown to become one of Maryland's largest and most
successful management companies. Today, the company employs nearly 60 people and provides management
services to over 150 accounts... nearly 30 thousand families! We have consistently provided the best service
for more than twenty years.
